  6. Hi, i recently got a modified engine but i'm having trouble's trying to figure out what is actually happening, its a EJ205 Engine with forged pistons but when i brought it to the workshop to have it compression tested all four cylinders only have about 90 to 100 psi, i asked my mech and he told me that this engine was running very low compression because it was meant for a large turbo, but isn't 90 to 100 abit too low? but my mech said that as long as all four cylinders do not show a big difference between one another it shouldn't be a problem if it isn't a problem what is the normal compression ratio and pressure for a standard EJ205 engine and what compression ratio do you think this engine that i got is running? its an awesome engine except i'm really worried that the piston rings might be worn out and also there is leak of engine oil at one of the bolts on the bottom left hand side of the engine with the flywheel facing me, asked another mech about that problem and he said that it's a very common problem on subaru engines with the seals and the gaskets, but he told me that i should definitely get it fixed as i also can see quite abit of engine oil on the floor where i park my car : (( what problem do you guys think it is? please help : ( thank you : DD
