Because it is a boxer engine, largely engineered by subaru and made in subaru factory

Bro, but the 86 uses the same boxer engine too. Just that the car is not made in Subaru factory.

Subaru design the boxer while Toyota dress up the car design...

While it is a tough choice between BRZ vs 86 ... I guess it might be the Subaru badge ... heehee

for me, i figured since the car has a boxer engine and subaru made the boxer engine, best to go with subaru haha

Was in KL, saw 86 being displayed at KLCC.....while its a Toyota 86, its fuel system (D-4S) showed "subaru" being embossed and can be seen clearly...oh selling at RM234k

It is individual preference...

If it is me ... I will go for 86 for the following,

1) Include bodykit by Borneo

2) Better aftersales service

3) Reasonable servicing cost
