BM9 gearbox confusion

5 posts in this topic

Just gotten a 8yo LGT BM9 yesterday.

Sent the car in for servicing and total oil and fluid change. To my suprise, "CVT fluid" was shown on the reciept. Consulted the workshop and they assured that they followed the VIN number when ordering parts.

But all the read up from internet shows BM9 comes in either 6spd or 5AT. Did workshop made a mistake?

the car chassis plate (usually at passenger front strut mount or front passenger door area) should hv the transmission ID. Try google it?

Solved. Confirmed atf. Clearly stated at the dip stick. Workshop probably screwed up by stockist.
